Professional Skills
I worked as the GIS Planner at APD Urban Planning and Management from July 2019 to March 2020.These are my work highlights when working at APD:
• Developed site plans, master plans, and renderings for community revitalization at various cities (Florence SC, Houston TX, Cincinnati, OH, Spartanburg SC) using both architectural path (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe CC) and GIS path (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Urban, City Engine).
• Manages the GIS database and server: using ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, and PostgreSQL to host GIS data and online maps with multiple query options and layers.
• Sought to automate APD-U’s analysis work using various tools and coding scripts. Automated the housing supply and demand gap analysis process and multi-level Census data downloading process.
• Completed market analysis and economic analysis reports for Spartanburg’s Highland Transformation Plan.
• Project management role of Westside Future Fund Mapping Task.

Site Planning
Creating site plans for neighborhood development from the level of street block to neighborhood. Designing parking lots that accommodate maximum parking spaces; Designing landscape, and street section.
Example: APDU Historic Third Ward Project. (Responsibilities: Site plan and design for three pilot projects and financing, cost estimates, funding sources, and capacity building recommendations.)
Architectural Design and Rendering
Rendering CAD and GIS drawings for site plan, building plan, elevation, and section.
